He is a fully qualified scaffolder and after an early career in contracting, in 1987 he established what is today the VR Group. The Group now embraces the manufacture, supply, hire and design of scaffolding and associated non-mechanical access products and is best known for the Saddle and Turnlok 460,

Julian Sanders,
Managing Director
Has over 30 years' experience in the scaffolding industry in contracting, temporary works design engineering and supply disciplines. He has been practising in health and safety management within the scaffolding industry since 1998. He has NEBOSH General and Construction Certificates, CISRS Advanced Scaffolding Safety Inspector, IOSH Construction Fire Risk Assessor, CISRS Advanced Scaffolder, Construction Fixings Association Approved Tester, Approved Drugs and Alcohol Collection Officer, Level 4 Diploma in Management and Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Transport Operation. He is a member of IOSH and the Scaffold Association. He has expertise in the installation and auditing of health and safety management systems, guiding and advising company management on health and safety roles and responsibilities. He holds an AET certificate(Award in Education and Training)

A qualified scaffolder with 22 years experience in the industry. Over the course of the years James has worked on projects for the MOD and energy plants sectors, which included controlling budgets and contracts management

Mark Avery
Contracts Director
Mark started his apprenticeship as a System Scaffold scaffolder in 1999 for Mite,After a few years he specialised in new build timer framed house scaffolding when timber framed houses where released into the market, a few years later moving into the industrial sector as a scaffold inspector / supervisor covering the whole of Scotland

David Manton
Contracts Director
Dave is recognised as a skilled and qualified in Contract Management with expertise in client services, procurement and personnel management. Competent in scheduling, budgeting, quality assurance and directing projects according to private and commercial client specifications. He is skilled in directing teams, projects, and sites simultaneously and has the credentials and experience necessary to undertake inspections and staff training. Has successfully managed and overseen small and large scale projects and has a track record of ensuring all site activities remain within health and safety guidelines, Dave is also experienced in the Haki System and has worked for major industrial businesses. he has looked after major contracts such as Stanlow, Kronospan, TATA Steel and Daresbury Science Labs. Dave holds a range of construction and engineering qualifications including CITB Instructor/ Supervisor and inspection for the Haki System, IOSH, Scaffold Inspection Course, NVQ Level 4 Occupational Supervisor, BESC/ Personal Course and Scaffold Instructor.

Jason Mulholland
Contracts Manager / Supervisor
Jason started in scaffolding in 1987 as an improver and worked his way to an Advanced scaffolder in 2000 gaining a wealth of experience before moving into industrial sector, In 2007 he progressed to passing his Advanced scaffolders inspectors qualification. he now also holds his CCNSG Safety passport,

Bryan Reading
Contracts Manager / Supervisor
Bryan has 30+ years experience in scaffolding, starting out as a scaffold labourer/driver working through to an advanced scaffolder, inspector and supervisor,
familiar with both commercial and industrial scaffolding serving at Ironbridge and Ratcliffe power stations for Kaefer (C and D group) and a variety of site projects over the years,He is also hgv class 1 and driver certification of professional competence (CPC) trained and is currently overseeing all aspects site supervision as Contracts Manager / Supervisor

Stephen Garrod
Contracts Supervisor & Senior Scaffolder
Stephen has been in the scaffolding industry for 28 years. He has worked across the UK in the major construction sector. He is recognised as a skilled scaffolder qualified to advanced scaffolder level. He holds supervisor training to SSSTS level, goods and passenger hoist operator and inspection certificates and G-Deck installation and inspection certificates. Stephen is experienced in tube and fitting scaffolding, Cuplok system and HAKI staircase system.

Russell has been in the scaffolding industry for over 20 years. He is recognised as a skilled and qualified basic scaffolder. He has worked in the construction industry throughout the Midlands region. He has experience in managing scaffold teams on major construction sites.
He is experienced in tube and fitting scaffolding, Cuplok system and HAKI staircase system.

Robert has been in the scaffolding industry for over 20 years. He is recognised as a skilled and qualified basic scaffolder. He has worked in the construction industry throughout the Midlands region. He has experience in managing scaffold teams on major construction sites. He is experienced in tube and fitting scaffolding,
Cuplok system and HAKI staircase system.

Jonathon Parsons
Trainee Estimator
We welcome Jonathon to our management team. He is a qualified basic scaffolder with 10 years' experience in the scaffolding industry working in the construction and maintenance sectors. He has joined our team as a trainee estimator. He holds G-Deck installation and inspection certificates and is experienced in tube and fitting scaffolding, Ringlock system and Haki staircase system.
