All of our employees work to the industry Health & Safety standards SG4:15 and TG20:13. Each week, Portway scaffolding structures that are onsite are inspected by a qualified inspector to ensure that they meet building regulations and health and safety requirements. Our sites have independent audits carried out by our external consultants Scaffsafe

Steven Gregory has 29 years' experience in the Scaffolding and Access Industry. During this
time, he has progressed through roles of Scaffolder, Team Leader, Contract Manager,
Coordinator, Inspector, Managing Director and more recently Scaffolding Instructor, Health
and Safety Consultant, Internal Quality Assurer, A1 Assessor and Lead Auditor. In these roles
he has gained valuable experience in work based on both within the Oil and Gas processing,
Construction, Industrial and Domestic Housing industries.
Steve has been previously a Fully Accredited & Registered CITB/CISRS Scaffold Instructor &
PASMA Instructor. Steve is still an active member of the IIRSM (International Institute Risk
Safety Management) and his current membership level is full member and also undertakes a
voluntary role as an ambassador on their behalf.
In 2019 he decided to start his own Health and Safety Consultancy, Scaffsafe .In
early 2020 Portway Scaffolding recognised the ScaffSafe Ltd ethos and decided the values
and quality he could bring could only strengthen our quality and position in the Scaffolding
sector would seriously enhance the Portway Scaffolding business.

Anchor Pull Testing Services
Scaffold Anchor and General-Purpose Pull Testing Preliminary and proof testing for all types of anchors used or tying of scaffolds. Our fully qualified engineers carry out both tensile and shear testing and include an optional tagging service. Tests include full written reports with optional photographic evidence portfolios.

Safety Eye Bolt Testing
Our fully qualified engineers provide annual testing and re-certification of safety eye bolts used for personal fall arrest system.
This service includes removal of failed eye bolts and re-installation of replacements where required.
